Why RSVP Exists
After years of donating her own money to Haitian organizations, Darling Giordani wanted to become more involved in the solutions—not only give from a distance.

Darling Giordani
More than twenty years of care.
Darling is a lifelong learner who has devoted more than 20 years to serving others in the medical field. Her passion for healing led her to pursue advanced education in both medicine and nursing, giving her a broad clinical perspective and a deep commitment to compassionate, evidence-based care.
Her experience spans primary care, critical care, cardiovascular care, veteran health, and neurological rehabilitation.

Why she started RSVP
She wanted to do more than give from a distance.
For years, Darling donated her own money to Haitian organizations that were helping children and families. She valued the work, but she also wanted to understand the needs more closely, become more involved in the solutions, and create a way for other people to support that work with her.
That desire inspired her to establish Resurrection Morning RSVP Inc. The organization brings ministry and medicine together to raise and steward charitable support for children’s food needs and expanded educational opportunity in Haiti.
RSVP makes grants to organizations already serving their communities in Haiti. Those organizations bring the request and explain how they plan to use the support.
Service beyond the clinic
Her service extends beyond professional practice.
Darling has participated in medical missions and community outreach, volunteered as a healthcare provider at a free clinic serving people experiencing homelessness, and cared for underserved populations as a Faith Community Nurse.
Her love for children has also led to many years in children’s and youth ministries, where she has mentored young people, nurtured their faith, and encouraged their educational growth.
Fluent in English, French, and Haitian Creole, Darling believes investing in the next generation can strengthen communities. She calls her life’s work “M&M”—Ministry and Medicine—two passions she believes God has woven together throughout her journey.
Darling also enjoys singing, a lifelong source of joy and another way she expresses her faith and connects with others.
“Leave the world better than you found it.”
Christian faith is part of RSVP’s foundation.
Darling’s faith has guided her work in nursing, medicine, ministry, and service, and it remains part of RSVP’s identity.
Chaplaincy and faith-based mentoring are offered by choice. Children and families can receive education, food, water, and other practical support whether or not they take part.
